Moloney Racing is pleased to announce that one of Victoria's leading apprentices Jarrod Fry has recently joined the stable.

Jarrod's move to Melbourne will be a bonus for our stable and we are sure a bonus for Jarrod also.

Jarrod has the advantage of a 2kg claim in the metropolitan area and I am sure that not only Moloney Racing will take advantage of the claim but other trainers will also have the opportunity of using this highly successful apprentice in the city and surrounds.

All at Moloney Racing welcome Jarrod to the Moloney Racing Family and we hope he can follow in the footsteps of some of our other successful apprentices who have passed through our door.

Harkaway put up a barnstorming performance to get up in the last stride at Geelong earlier this afternoon.

His win today made up for his unlucky run at this track last start although he did run into some traffic at the furlong pole this afternoon but a cool head by top rider Mark Zahra saw this good looking son of Royal Academy and the former Moloney trained mare Dolphin Dance do the right thing and savage the line.

Congratulations to all involved and the win will provide a pleasant surprise for owner John Shannon who boarded a plane an hour before the race and will not know the result until he lands in Australia.

A lot of hard work and patience saw Music In The Park score at Geelong earlier today.

The mare who has promised so much to the extent that John Moloney thought she was good enough to have a crack at the Thousand Guineas last spring repaid that faith to some extent with her win yesterday.

An excellent ride from Chris Symons got the 4 year old mare home and depending on how she comes through we still may see her achieve that elusive 'black type'.

	Congratulations to all.

A terrific, dominant performance by Johadina when scoring at Cranbourne earlier this afternoon was followed by exuberant scenes in the winners enclosure.

An excited Jarrad Todd punched the air as Johadina strode past the post well clear of his rivals,

A recent acquisition to the Moloney stable Johadina has repaid the faith of his tremendous group of loyal owners.

Congratulations to John Moloney and his staff on their effort in getting Johadina to perform as well as he has and the show may continue in a further 2 weeks time again at Cranbourne.

The horse had a few problems since the 'Bool, but on todays showing he looks back to form with hopefully his best yet to come.

A tremendous training performance by Gerard Moloney saw New Years Eve return to the winning list at Geelong earlier today.

It has been over 2 years since the mare last graced the winners stall. however Gerards expertise in getting the mare back to race fitness and the ability to overcome the injuries the mare incurred came to fruition with a solid performance.

Congratulations to our patient owners who were rewarded with a 'showcase' victory and to our staff who took great delight in kicking home a most popular win.

The win put a smile on Gerards face.

Great to see the name Moloney back in the winners stall at the famous Warrnambool May Racing Carnival.

Arguably rated the 'ride' of the carnival by some of the hard nosed racing men down at the Bool jockey Dan Nikolic brought Papercut from a seemingly hopeless position at the 200 metre mark to score a barnstorming win in the 1100 Metre dash sponsored by the Warrnambool Standard.

Turned out in terrific condition for a 1st up crack by John Moloney Papercut brought off a late betting plunge to grab the favourite right on the line.

Wet tracks seem to be this fellows go and with a wet winter to come the future could be promising for this good looking son of Johannesburg.

Congratulations to the owners , The Shannon Brothers, Colin Beggs and John Moloney and tremendous thanks to our long time collegue and staff member Shane OSullivan who travelled to Warrnambool with John to prepare and assist in producing Papercut for this fabulous effort.

John was swamped by well wishers as the number went up including his cousins Frank, Larry and Vin McCarthy, who we believe celebrated well into the night.

Congratulations also to the Warrnambool Racing Club on this years Carnival.....A Job Well Done.....See you next year!
